A year has passed and the protagonists of the "New Year's Taxi" are counting down to the New Year again. Andrew is spending it with his beloved Ilze, waiting for her mom to come and finally meet her and announce her baby. Because of Ilze's many whims, he unknowingly becomes a sage for an unusual event that can change not only his own future but that of his new family.
