LLZ 2025: The End

Twenty-five years ago, a climate catastrophe left the Earth uninhabitable. Mother (Tilda Swinton), Father (Michael Shannon) and Son (George MacKay) live in an underground home, trying to maintain hope and a sense of normality by following the rituals of daily life. Their happy routine is disrupted by the appearance of a stranger, The Girl (Moses Ingram). Having never seen the outside world, the naïve 20-year-old Son becomes infatuated with the visitor, and suddenly the fragile bonds of blind optimism that have held the wealthy family together start to fray. As tensions mount, the family's seemingly idyllic life begins to crumble, while the long-suppressed guilt and resentment start to bubble up to the surface.
