LLZ 2025: When Fall Is Coming

In her retirement, Michelle (Hélène Vincent) enjoys her quiet life and daily routine in a small Burgundian village. Her best friend of many years, Marie-Claude (Josiane Balasko), lives nearby, and her grandson, Lucas, is due to spend his autumn holidays with her. But with the arrival of her daughter Valerie (Ludivine Sagnier, returned to Ozon’s world after more than 20 years), Michelle's serenity is shattered as her daughter ingests poisonous mushrooms her mother accidentally picked. A long-awaited idyllic holiday with her grandchild is disrupted, and it seems that Michelle is about to lose her grip. But the return of Marie-Claude's son from prison sets in motion an unexpected bend - it turns out that the virtuous Michelle is not at all a saint and her intriguing and colorful life of passion extends beyond her youth in Paris.
