In the midst of World War II, an experienced military pilot Nikolai Komlev, firing at a German tank column moving into a hundredtron of a protected area. Despite the successful shelling, unexpectedly appeared German bombers knocked out Nikolai's plane. Miraculously, the surviving Nikolai finds himself completely alone in the Arctic cold of the wild, where even more severe tests await him...
